So, you probably got the latest cell phone with all the newest, coolest features. You got your GPS, umpteen megapixel camera, and of course bluetooth. Well, it is most commonly used for hooking up those wireless bluetooth headsets, but most people dont even think about using them with their computers. And when they do eventually reach that point that they want to connect to their computer with their cell phone, be it for transfering names or pictures, they come to the realization that their computer doesnt have a bluetooth connection? Well, most computers, even the newer ones, dont come with bluetooth unless you ask and pay for the buyup.
Well, I just recently bought a pretty sweet new dell desktop and thought I had got all the bells and whistles. I must have missed the bluetooth cause it aint there. Well, you can always go out and but an internal bluetooth card, hope you have an open expansion slot, and unless you know how to work on computers, you’re gonna have to pay the local “geek squad” an ungodly amount to install it for you. Anywho, the other option would be the external type of bluetooth connection. More specifically, the bluetooth usb dongle.
The nice thing about the bluetooth usb dongle is that they’re really cheap. We’re talking $5-$20 on ebay here people. I ended up going a different route, but if you gotta connect anything bluetooth to your computer then I would highly recommend going with a bluetooth usb dongle.
